Urban Bistro in Burlingame, California had a living wall installed using a living wall kit available at Urban Zeal Planters.

First plywood was installed on the wall to give support for the future vertical garden.

Next, waterproof sheets were attached to the plywood with duct tape used to seal the seams.

Metal spacers were then screwed into the wall which will allow for good air flow behind the vertical garden.

The individual panels were then lifted and screwed into the metal spacers and those felt pockets in the panels will be the future home of the plants!

Next, 320 ferns are placed into the pockets to create an instant living wall.
