The vertical garden above at Paradise Park Children’s Centre in the London Borough of Islington was installed in 2006 and included over 30 species is sadly on the way out. This is not the beautiful image of vertical gardens that we have all come to know and love.

This was Britain’s first attempt at buildig a vertical garden that has not worked well most likley due to poor plant selection and irrigation techniques.
