An edible garden was installed at Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles by Tournesol Siteworks

While the frame is still visible I think the effect is still dramatic, especially considering the plants are edible and the food is used on site.

Irrigation is achieved through using Netafim in-line drip irrigation and a battery-powered timer/valve attached to a nearby tap.

Instead of covering up the sides of the panels with a screen or cover, they chose to grow in rosemary (in the sides), and lettuce and cabbage on the top.

The module used were the Elmich Vertical Greening Modules described here.
